The Unit is very well made , however , I did not realise it was suitable more for cats and does not have a large water reserve and my Dog is an American Akita which requires a lot of water , and the unit is not capable of self refiliing , so it would be empty in a very short time and so I cannot use it for my dog . It would have been perfect if the water reserve was at least 2 to 3 litres i capacity . So it's just sitting in it's box , but a ver good unit for someone with a small dog or cat .
