The shampoo bar lathered up really well. I have naturally grey hair and it did give a slight purple hue but as the days went on it disappeared .I was concerned about the conditioner being enough to untangle and soften but I needn't have been. Im used to slathering my hair with conditioner and this felt insufficient but after a day, free drying, it wasn't as knotty.
