To be honest, going by the photo, it looks quite well-forged. However, the tip is slightly bent. Also, it doesn't have the katana-style curve that was apparent in the picture; it's more straight, like a sword.
Having said that, considering the price, you can't really expect much more, I'll keep it in my collection of 'could be better but not bad' items."
