Just a fancy, expensive ear plugs with very bold claims!
I wanted to love these because they were advertised everywhere and seemed like the perfect motorcycle earplugs. They do work, but after several rides, I would describe the experience as average at best rather than exceptional, especially considering the claims made across multiple social media advertisements.
They reduce wind noise while still allowing you to hear your engine and helmet communicator, but the seal can be inconsistent. If they aren't inserted just right, I sometimes get extra wind noise that almost sounds like driving with one car window partially open. There is definitely a learning curve.
My biggest criticism is the value. At around $15 per pair, I expected a much bigger improvement over standard disposable foam earplugs that cost a fraction of the price. Foam plugs actually block more noise, while these provide a better balance between protection and awareness, but not enough to justify the premium price for me.
Overall, they are comfortable and reusable, but the marketing created expectations that the real-world performance simply hasn't lived up to. For me, they're a solid 2 out of 5 stars.
