I decided to return it and contacted the seller. I was instructed to send the item to Ukraine, even though the return policy clearly states a U.S. address. I followed their instructions and paid an additional €15 for return shipping.
It has now been over 3 months, and the parcel appears to be lost somewhere in Ukraine. I still have not received a refund. In total, I lost money on the item, the return shipping, and spent a significant amount of time dealing with this issue.
