I had to change my review to 2 starts instead of 4 because I got a surprise bill from Fedex for an import charge of $35! For one pair of shoes! What?! I've never encountered this before; usually any import fees are baked into the cost of the item AND there was no mention of this when I purchased (that I recall) other than the original (also crazy high) shipping cost. Petit Nord -- you have to pay this as the business, not me as the customer who already bought and paid for the item.

Shipping to US is too high. Would buy more often if it weren’t for the shipping cost. Maybe a North American warehouse would help?
