Carrier insisted no one at home on the Sat am when he tried to deliver the cheese and the photo he took was outside our gate , half opened!If he’d ventured up the drive , he would see open windows , resident cars and a shout or knock on the door would have proven him wrong . Consequently , cheese had a night in a locker and was picked up the next morning . I don’t think the carriers are familiar with country properties that necessitate some effort to get to the front door to deliver !
