Ok, so it took me a few minutes to figure out how to unbox. Do I slide it out? Then, oh duh, side magnets. When I released the Journal and opened it to the MAP, I gasped. Like, literally let out a gasp. I love, love, love maps in my stories, and to have one in MY story only makes sense. I don’t want to drop too many spoilers, but the concept and art are both lovely. I have not looked through the whole Journal. I am treating it like a true journey, page by page.

I took my time deciding on this journal. At first glance the illustrations suggest it was made for children. But investigation shows this is not the case. The use of story theory is something I did not appreciate at first. The illustrations add the potential to inject some whimsy into my daily goal journaling which I think is helpful. I’m just getting started. A full review will have to wait. I can tell you the quality is very good and the paper is fountain pen friendly. A big deal for me.

The journal is lovely. Nicely protected with a sleeve cover and well made to hold up to assorted adventures. I like it a lot.
