I put them outside in the sun (as Google said will help the smell), but it did not work. I also received in the smashed mailer a box for a bracelet that was empty. I reached out to customer service, as I am a repeat buyer, and was told -- they ran out of inventory for the bracelet, but no explanation of why there was an empty box. They also dismissed the smell .
