It was very easy and you have a few color options to choose from. I bought a extra weight because I have a very busy and energetic 21 lb Boston terrier. Right now I'm using it in my living room so I can relax and watch tv, so far the 10 lb weight is working perfect. I have the option of adding the other 10 lbs if he starts pulling.
