Since Sole Desire closed in Petaluma I have been ordering online. The service is quick. I’m not paying postage as I order enough to qualify for free shipping. I have had to return two pair and it’s kind of a drag to drive to Santa Rosa. However, the parking lot makes it easier.

I live in Humboldt County where we don't have a lot of shoe shopping choices. I'm thrilled that Sole Desire offers free shipping and returns. I'd rather support a small retailer than Zappos! Shipping is fast. The turn around after purchase is only 2-3 days. Easy-to-navigate website as well.

I bought the wrong size boots. Instead of an exchange, I just ordered one size smaller. When I tried to return the bigger size, I found that shipping would only be waived with an exchange. But I emailed and was told they would waive the shipping fee, since I ordered another pair. Great customer service!
