The advertising makes it sound like you’re getting a deal. Your not. Better off ordering a carrier from amazon and the plates from an American manufacturer. Cost will be pretty close to the same. I received my order of 2 vests with plates today, and upon inspection of the items sent, I am requesting verification of information I received PRIOR to my purchase. Please refer to attached email.
was told that the plates were , "NIJ Level III certified ballistic protection".
The plates I received have no marking on them. NIJ Level equipment have a manufacture label confirming the level rating. These look and feel like a hard foam material, not ballistic material.
