Not sure if the 20 lbs of defective bowl blank cutoffs was a good deal considering shipping charges. Granted it's a lot of pieces, some of which I could identify. About half were not particularly exciting, consisting of I think poplar and some maple and oak. But some or the pieces were nice chunks of purple heart and mahogany. I got a free bowl blank of hard maple for my order over $100 which is nice. I wish the random pieces were labeled as to species.
