You dont want me to write this here. I had to wait a couple of weeks, after I found out, that my lens was stuck in customs, because Thypoch failed to provide the necessary paperwork. I got the lens after paying aprx. 300 USD to the customs. That was not at all a great experience. Though ... I love the lens.

The buying experience was exactly as one would hope. Inquiries were answered promptly, and shipping was smooth and fast. The fact that import fees would apply was communicated transparently, and despite these additional costs (due to Switzerland), the item was cheaper directly from Thypoch than from domestic discount retailers. A very positive experience that I’ll happily repeat.

Great support and prices in getting lenses shipped to the UK. Sometimes the emails/confirmations in delivery time were confusing and delayed.

I dislike the fact that you only get the invoice when you ask for it not after paying. and even then, I had a discussion because the item has been declared with the value that was too low so customs wanted to know all about it

Handling and shipping was way to slow. I admit that my experience might have been colored by my high expectations for receiving the lens i ordered, but thats how we are ;-) If you can speed up the process it will be noticed :-)

Quick shipping & beautiful products!

Prompt shipping, fair price but… but… but… The aperture ring does not click and it is very difficult to set the aperture where I want it to stop. There is a very faint bump at each stop but not at all certain feeling. Also, slight de-centering, or difference in resolution, at each corner. Finally, it is otherwise a lens that I could use for some purposes, but is not the candidate for my everyday, everywhere use I was hoping to receive. I am happy to return it for evaluation and adjustme
