The leather was soft and craftmanship perfect. They actually were too flat for my feet and made my arches hurt within about 15 minutes. The inside stitching right at the bend of my big toes rubbed the underside of my foot and left an indention which was uncomfortable. I was disappointed that they did not fit well for me, but I gave them to a young lady at my church and yhey fit her. So your shoes are being enjoyed.
