Since I am on the opposite coast, by the time I receive my sausage links, all the gel packs are defrosted. This creates an icy film on the sausage bonding them together in frost. In order to separate the links, I have to run them under cold water to melt the ice & frost, and then re-wrap them in different sized portions. There has got to be a better way to package the sausage (maybe in portions of 3's?) so that I can take them right out of the box & put them in the freezer.
