After installing the filter, I ran 2 gallons through the water dispenser and there was none of the charcoal cloudiness that I had with a GE filter. Is there no charcoal in the filter or filtering device? I am concerned that it is not filtering the water but just installing a chip showing the filter was changed. At the price paid, please let me know if this thing is really filtering the water.
