Felt he maybe weakened the storyline by letting the characters return to war torn Europe although it was late in 1944 after they had already escaped to London.
Wasn’t prepared for the gruesome concentration camp details . Although very well written and had horrific details of the outcome of persecution of the Jewish race maybe 2 storyline’s here
(A) the resistance (B) life in the concentration camps !
From a readers point of view still gripping story couldn’t put books down until I’d finishe
