I had to put the unit on a platform to get it to properly drain (the unit gave me an error to empty the condensate). It would not drain from the top (it would stop and throw an error) and I had to put the drain hose on the bottom and put the unit high enough that gravity would feed the hose (the whole for the condensate is 2 inches off the floor)...this was while using the heat. Also the unit is loud (even on the fan's lowest setting) and does not have a way to quiet it. Otherwise it works as advertised.
