I wish they would have delivered the dumplings I ordered, not two order of cumin lamb noodles. The only reason I ordered was because I go the dumpling email. Really wanted them as a Christmas gift. Food is always great, nothing to complain about there—though one of the lamb packs had a huge chuck of fat—like golf ball size.

Xi'an Famous Foods is the best! They are a thoughtful, soulful, neighborly business with absolutely KICKASS food. I live in San Diego, California though. In the two December days it took for the (subsidized) dumpling package to travel from NYC, all 5 lbs of dry ice had evaporated and the dumplings were completely defrosted but "refrigerator cool". I re-froze them 30 minutes after arrival, which is when the entire package of five servings became a single "borg" dumpling. How do I pull a single serving out? I slightly defrosted them but ~40% of the dumplings were mangled in the decoupling, like some kind of delicious roadkill. I'd love to avoid this in the future by having the dumplings as XFF and God intended.

He immediately sent out a replacement order so that I was able to receive the product in time. Thank you. I would highly recommend. Easy and fun to prepare (bought the Biang noodles, too) and everyone had a great time preparing dinner.
