I’m in an EU country and the notification from county’s post office and customs was “VAT was paid, so you do not need to pay VAT on your shipment but the sender did not include enough information to successfully make a customs declaration” I never got what was that omission on the sender’s part even if I sent them a screen grab of that exact text. So I just paid duty on it because I was waiting for it a full month. It was steep.
