This pump is a cheap Chinese POS!
I regret purchasing it. I think I could piss stronger than this thing! I've had fish tank pumps bigger than this.
The main reason I purchased it was that I was purchasing from a specialized fountain/pond supplier and that it was solar powered with a battery back-up, plus an LED light. I would have assumed that it works on solar power during the day, as well as charging the battery, then at night it switches to the battery back-up.
Unfortunately the battery back-up does NOT work. It only works in either Solar mode or Battery mode, but not both. Also, the LED light does NOT work at all.
I regret this purchase and wish to return it for a full credit. I should have just purchased one from Bunnings!!
