I needed to return a ring brought for me as a gift as it was too small. The return email received said I had to post the ring to Spain at a cost of £10, that it wasn't guaranteed arrival and that I had to basically lie on the form from Post Office as I was not allowed to mark the package as merchandise. You have to complete the postal form in order to send the return abroad.
