My boyfriend actually hates the lamp, and is strangely worried about the lamp getting wet and rusting, because that's a normal and natural concern to have about about a lamp that sits approximately 7 meters away from a water outlet. Anyway, don't let his distain for the lamp (which is rooted in a lack of interior design vision symbolic of the perfect emersion of mid century modern and 80s electric flare) it's perfect!

I purchased the Blood Orange Ribbon lamp as I was looking for an accent lamp with a soft light that will give my bedroom a cozy feel. The lamp feels well constructed, the spehrical lampshade that came with it distributes light very well and it is easy on the eyes when the light is facing you.
Shipping from Australia to the Midwestern US took about 11 days, and the lamp arrived to my apartment very well-packaged. I am now considering purchasing the green ribbon lamp to go with it.
