I discovered the album simply by listening to a song by Mr. Ken Dono, which I found adorable. I really appreciate his simple and emotional way of singing. I heard Mr Ken when scrolling through my iPad, and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, and his Grandson beside him, looking gorgeous ! at first one would think he doesn’t do much, but he CAN sing too !! His beautiful voice, raspy though it is, just rolls over me as a balm. I thought there were 14 songs. I have 11, but that’s okay! In the next album, maybe more with his grandson singing harmony? Would also love to have English translation of the non-English songs.

The music is wonderful, but I had some difficulty figuring out where to put the music once I downloaded it, and then how to access it to play.
It ended up In Dropbox, that’s the only thing I could figure out. I have to play one song at a time instead of the whole album, since each song is a separate file. I don’t know if there is an easier way.

It’s such a refreshing change, and I absolutely enjoy the new slant on older songs. Mr Ken’s voice gives me shivers, and I love the native music —- just have to dance ! I’ve read a lot of stuff about it being AI. It would be good to let the truth come out, whatever the result. There is too much false stuff out there, and the music in this case, would not be diminished either way. Besides, if Mr Ken is “ real “, I might very well have to find out if he is married ! 😘.
