The design was a little different than expected, I was told of this, so it wasn't a big issue. That's part of the charm of recycled products. The canvas itself is sturdy as a house and the inside layer is nice and comfy once you wear it in a bit. It's not floppy and foldable which is a good quality in a hat. For the price, it's a brilliant, lasting hat. You will get plenty of mileage out of it. I'm really happy with it.

I love the hat and it's one of the only ones I've bought that my family says looks good on me. Used the method you suggested to measure my hat size and it worked fine. Thought it was to tight but within a week it stretched out to fit perfectly. Wish I would have bought a chin strap for the windy days, but can always make due. Great hat. Great shade. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and I would rate it at 5 stars except the elastic headband was a little weak to start with and useless now. Any breeze or wind now, and the hat comes off. Soon I will make my own grommeted holes in the brim and give it a chin strap/ cord.

Well, based off of the stock picture, I was expecting my hat is be HELLA black; like dark dark. I had a whole look I was thinking about and what I got actually seemed to suit me better. I'd say probably the 13th shade of Grey. It's quite dark, almost slate looking, and it gives an impression of a once super dark black that has very worn and sun faded. I've grown into it. I love this wallet! Now if you’re looking for one of those fancy leather 5th Avenue jobs that you’re afraid is going to get scratched up, this isn’t it. This is a wallet that looks like it’s already lived a hard life. Mine has a “patch” on the front and back and that makes it even better. I like the coin pocket, too, so I don’t have to throw change in my pants pocket.. One thing to note is the card slots were kind of “sealed” and had to be opened up initially to get the cards in.
