I bought this for the Australian sun. Been amazing. I was worried about what sweat would do to it, but after multiple 4 hour walks in high 20's, this hat absorbs sweat and keeps going. Yet to wash mine but super impressed with its staying power. Very comfortable. For sizing, I was around 59.5cm when measuring my head, and for the 61cm, fit perfect first time. Now I don't leave the house without it. I also got the leather neck strap too. Not necessary but I like it.

Really loved the shoes , just a couple of days for them to loosen up, like most shoes that are used for hiking , walking etc.. they feel great and hopefully will last a long time , though I will probably wear them heaps ..look good and I love that they are made from recycled products…the more we reuse things the better it is for the planet!! Love the hat, esp the random piece of text on the underside of the peak. The material is tough, and feels like it's gonna last a lifetime (probably longer) but the padding around the rim makes it comfy on the skin.

A well constructed hat and the canvas feels indestructible even though well used. The wire in the brim is a good gauge and has allowed me to shape it into a 'ranchero' style. The sizing was accurate which makes it feels like I've worn it for years. Its fast become my go to hat for farming, driving or just casual wear in town. If it had a chin cord/strap it would be perfect for windy days. Some people can't be pleased!

The backpack material is very soft but sturdy. Feels good for something that's been trundling around on the back of a truck. Very well made, the stitching is strong and the zippers are great quality. I absolutely love this hat. From the moment I took it out of the packaging I knew I’d found ‘my hat’. It fits like a glove, looks fantastic and it might be the only hat I have that will take the abuse it put hats through. I’ve had Akubras, (too hot), Barmahs, (shrank in the heat when left on the car), this one has already been to hell and back in its previous life as truck canvas so I know I can’t ‘weather’ it much more.
