I repaired my leaky Lund visor on my 1996 Ford Bronco. It was attached with #14 sheet metal screws but the holes in the Bronco roof were damaged and oversized. It took a bit but I found 5/16" sheet metal screws to replace the old ones but the hex size went from 7/16" to 1/2". This caused a dilemma since the old screw caps were to small. After searching the internet I found caps for the 1/2" hex were not a common off the shelf part. After much digging on the internet I found PRO-DEC and there 1/2...

Recommended. Product: Snap Cap, 12/12-134 Brown Bronze I'm a homeowner and repeat buyer. The snap caps add a level of quality finish and craftsmanship. Buy extra to have a ready spare because over years one may mysteriously disappear or get knocked off and lost when working on other things in the area. An artist / metal worker commented how he liked the look of the "rivets".

These black 1/2" caps were just what I needed to make my truck steps complete. Get them lined up and tap them on with a hammer. Done, and they look great. I can't beleive no one in my area carries these and I had to order them. Without the caps a shiny bolt would show. Worst yet that the makers of the steps dont include them with the steps. Shame on you "Bully brand steps".

The fabric on my chairs deteriorated over time. Instead of throwing them away i replaced the fabric with wood slates, bolted down with a neoprene nut which I covered with the caps. They worked perfectly.

Before and after pics—hope they are in order! I found it a little tricky getting them lined up on the #2 Phillips screws but I did manage. It might have been the angle I was working at. They were phenomenal on the T20 screws. I don’t think it’s mentioned on the website but I took a chance and it worked. The Bronze Brown is a great match for the dark tracks.

Bought these to replace some of the broken covers on my vinyl fence gate. They look and fit perfectly, so I’m very pleased. The color is flat white and the caps are slightly rounded with the high point in the center -so they are an exact match to the ones that were originally used on my fence. What I don’t know is whether the plastic of these new caps has U-V inhibitors to prevent sun damage.

They were actually too small for what I needed. I bought the largest available. These were too small. I needed them to cover the Tapcon hex head screw on my lani floor railing. The picture shows the size difference. The service rep I talked to at Pro Deck was very nice. I still can’t find the caps I need.
