Great strap! It’s clear that thought was put into the construction of everything from the eyelet shape to the reinforced stitches on the strap end to resist fraying. Colors are clean and the thin stripe down the center sets it apart from other straps of similar design on the market. Simple pass thru strap, made very well, and the hardware is perfect. Better than the FVEY (in my opinion) because I end up cutting off the extra material on all NA TO straps. For the NOFORN, I actually flipped the strap so that WOE logo is hidden. For how I like to wear these, the logo was being halfway obscured under the watch case. If there’s ever a non-logo version, I’d pick one up for sure.

What more can I say that I haven’t in other my reviews? This is an outstanding strap with a fun name. It’s well built, a good gray color, and solid hardware with nice little WOE nods like the logo and “use your tools” text. With another couple of straps on order, I guess I’m a homer, a shill, what-have-you, and I’m okay with that.

The Commander is my fifth strap from WOE. Some are on other tool watches and some were gifts for family and friends. This one is on my Whitby Intrepid. Whitby was the home of Camp X, the first Special Operstions training facility in North America and the “Intrepid” is named for the commo address for William Stephenson, Canadian hero, British intel officer and friend and confidant of William Donovan.
