Clever product, and moderately useful both for squats and for use as a low stool.
Despite clear instructions and excellent packaging, I found assembly to be a pain, and while the springs themselves are quite beefy, the wood used for the base and top feels quite cheap. In the same week that the stool arrived, I happened to also receive another Chinese-manufactured wooden product which had been beautifully made and finished. The contrast between the two was dramatic.

The stool came in fine and I watched the YouTube video and put it together rather quickly. I weigh 210 lbs. I sat on it the first day no problem. I was in a deep squat that stretched my muscles. However on the second day of use I heard a crack. I got off flipped it and exactly where the spring is the wood was cracked and peeling. I think the wooden part of the stool is not strong enough. I had my husband adjust and some wood glue. Hopefully it continues to work. I was disappointed with that part...
