I've owned the original portable shower for several years now. The ROAM is different in that it's 'always on'.. I've freed up the ciggie socket in the tub in the ute.
I've used the system for rinsing dive gear, post dive showers, fresh water when camping and/or out with the doggo.
The pressure of the pump is sensational. It fits into the Ranger bracket I had previously and with an M8 bolt, have mounted the hose holder in the back of the ute.

I purchased the ONTAP portable shower about two weeks ago, filled with hot water before leaving home I have enjoyied the luxury of a hot shower every day after a winter's swim or surf, perfect!
(My wife reckons I've gone soft :) I also have the ONTAP lockable jerry can holders on my caravan and it's a perfect fit. PS Today I even had enough water remaining to hose down a dog walkers dog 😀

Works great. Good pressure for a shower. I heated a half jerry it in the sun during the day and added a litre of boiling water at night to make it nice and hot. Battery lasts a long time. I had seven hours and it’s still on the highest level of charge.

It is a great system for touring. Carry water in the back of the 4WD without having to lift out a water container. Just use the 12 v socket in the back. When empty just fill it up where is sits.

I installed the Ontap system under the engine cover of my old Bertram 25. Wired in a small switch under the gunnel combing in the back corner so I can turn it on when I want (the switch on the ontap lead stays on all the time). The hose lives in the transom hatch and is pulled out when necessary. Added bonus is the engine heats up the water!

It is such a DELIGHT to come out of the surf on a bitter winter’s day to clean up with my own personal warm shower! The water stays hot for hours. I only use half a tank of water for my gear , wettie and me and that’s using it liberally. The pump uses just the right amount of pressure and is so easy to use. It will be fantastic when surfing more remote locations, but for now I’m the only one smiling not shivering in the car park!
