I cannot recommend this company highly enough, from the start they were very helpful in assisting me and Sam went above and beyond to send me samples to help me choose the right fabric in the exact colour I wanted. The headboard was made very quickly and was delivered with very sturdy packaging in order not to receive any damage in transit. It's completely amazing! My photograph sadly doesn't do it justice. I received the delivery of these items today. The bed is very solid, and I am extremely satisfied with its quality. The headboard looks excellent. I highly recommend purchasing from this company. The only issue is their delivery system, which needs improvement. Although they made many promises, the goods arrived late.

Excellent bed. I opted for it to be reinforced. I used the chat and email options if l had any questions, and the company were very responsive. The bed took a little longer to be made and the delivery company were poor at communication, but the bed itself is well made and l am pleased with it.

Delivery man very helpful and polite. He carried the bed base to the first floor as promised. The instructions were easy to follow. The bed base is well made, made in Britain and good value for money. We have attic bedrooms and in the near future will be moving the bed base (plus mattress) to the top floor. I do not know of any other company that has thought of bed bases that can be moved/used to attic rooms. Thank you all

I love my new ottoman bed and the storage space is incredible, what fit in 9 boxes under my previous bed now barely fills half the space. Bit stiff & heavy to bring up and down but still manageable (will hopefully get a bit easier over time)

The personal service we got from Luke at British beds was excellent he could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the product. The delivery company however were atrocious. The two delivery men could not have been more unhelpful and left the beds out on the drive.

Friendly and efficient delivery persons. Made sure the castors were supplied and fitted them for me, which I was a bit worried about. Set up bed and ensured all was well before they left. Lower level bed base is exactly what I wanted for my room. I do not feel 'perched on top of a mountain' lying on it! Also, the castors mean I can move it about easily when I need to. Very satisfied.

This Headboard is stylish and very good value for money. A real tip for anyone wanting a super king size width but is tight for length in their room. Do what we did…We bought the Superking size (6ft wide) and paired it with 2 x single (3ft wide) matching divan bases as they are 3” shorter than Superking size beds so give a lot more room at the end of the bed. Plus their is so much more choice for 2x single bed mattresses than zip and link super king size.

I really like the way the lower bed base looks in my room. I do find most modern bases much too high to me after you add a mattress, topper etc. In bed, I feel like I'm in danger of falling off! I don't have low ceilings (quite high actually) but I prefer the bed height to match the other furniture in the room. I also love the castors which mean I can move the bed around easily for cleaning etc. I could not find a lower style bed base from any other maker/retailer so well done, British beds!

Bed looks really nice however there were some hiccups at the beginning, twice they called me to confirm the colour and I had to chase several times for delivery and waited a while. However if you are not in any particular rush, the quality of the bed seems excellent and I paid for them to remove my old bed too and that all went smoothly.

I would have given it 5 but am a little concerned with some of the tufting which is not as precise and tight as with the headboard I bought previously - and am very happy with - and I am a little concerned that with use some of the pleated edges may not hold. Well made and good communication with the company. The only issue is it’s difficult to carry when there is nothing to grip onto, the fabric is smooth and slippery. The 5 foot version is heavy. An item this big would benefit from a handle at each end, especially if you’re trying to carry it up a set of stairs!

Some of the assembly components were fiddly and not easy: some casters fitted fine but one was exceptionally difficult. The holes to join the base halves were indicated with sticky labels which weren’t in the right place. Why aren’t these preholed?
