We bought a pair of blue sole vellies and a pair of green sole vellies for our son living in the USA as we had given him a pair of the blue sole vellies 18 months ago which he has worn out. We live in Cape Town and when we visit him it is always difficult to know what to take him. Now it is easy ! Vellies whenever we visit. He just loves them and lots of his friends are jealous.

Good afternoon I am so proud and love my Veldskoen golf shoes and love wearing them with pride. They are like slippers on the golf course. I played today and the grass was very wet. I thought the shoes will be totally waterproof. To my disappointment my shoes have water stains on both sides. Will it disappear when drying out? If not, how can I treat them to still look brand new. Not my first rodeo as you can see. Absolutely love the shoes. My only sadness is that the lifetime of the soles does not match that of the uppers. Fortunately I have a great street cobbler who makes a slit in the sole for me and stitches the sole to the upper. I know that is more costly from a production perspective, but I would happily pay for that extra longevity. Re-glueing soles simply doesn't work. Cheers, Richard

Veldskoen Vellies are absolutely the best ever, extremely comfortable and robust. I have been wearing them for the past 8 years and have three pairs of them. I am very happy with the latest boot type vellie I purchased, they are very comfortable and love the ankle support. Perfect for the farm and hiking.

I’m very happy with them. On the first day, I thought they are rough and would cause chafing. But by the end of the day, I was delighted with how comfortable they are, how well they fit, and how enjoyable they are to wear.

Great experience from order to delivery. These shoes are super comfy and it was a pleasant surprise to find they had steel toe caps. (I bought them as a gift for my dad) Will be ordering more!

This was a gift for my dad’s birthday. He usually has never liked the style of a veldskoen but these specific ones are amazing! They are perfect for farm life but also for professional occasions. I love my new veldskoen. It is so comfortable and I can wear it with my formal work clothes. I need more in different colors; black, blue, pink, green, cream... pleeeease make them...!!!

Veldskoen - too good to be alone … We are great fans and supporter of these shoes and the brand. My wife and me own several of these and we wear them even at work. They’re really comfortable from Day 1 and the quality is so good. If you’re in Cape Town visit the store. The team is so nice and very helpful (and the table tennis was fun)!

It was great as always. It's my second pair of Plakkies. But would love to see more brighter colours I the Plakkies range. Would like a bright summer yellow colour.

Very comfortable like all your other shoes. I started with your Chelsea boot - still wearing them - then I bought the work “formal shoe - still wearing them - then the Move me boot - love it so much but I can only put in once a day because of how long it takes to put on - and now the heritage veldskoen which feels like slippers. I have not bought another brand of shoes for about five years even though all my takkies have since died. Enough said

The old and the new ! After 18 months, my son in USA, asked for a new pair of vellies. We got him two pairs for Christmas as we live in Cape Town and were visiting for Christmas ! One green and one blue. He is delighted.

I have four pairs these boots and this photo was when I went MTB riding in Tennessee this year and did not have my cycling shoes so my green ones were pressed into action. Later dusted them off and were out for dinner!

I finally received my Traveller boots after waiting for two months to receive the right size. I guess they are so popular they just flew…. Veldskoen assisted me continuously with updates, and never got tired of my enquiries. It was worth the wait!! I love my boots and can’t wait to start making memories in them! I'm usually a UK 5.5 but opted for a size 6 since I'm flat-footed. The fit feels a little snug over the top of my foot right now, but I’m confident they’ll break in nicely with more wear. The shoes are incredibly light, which I really appreciate. Just a heads up : I wore them with white socks the first time, and the leather dyed the heels of my socks definitely something to keep in mind. Still, I’m super happy with my purchase and excited to see how they mold to my feet over time!

Beautifully made shoes from quality leather. Decent price too. Had to wear them in a bit since the top of the one side hurt my leg because it was digging into my skin. However, they fit like a like after a few weeks. I like the little South African flags at the back. Highly recommend.

Lucky number 13.... Words fail me on this pair of boots. You have to experience this to grasp what I'm attempt to say. You walk differently in these boots, with intent if you wish. When you enter a room people, without you having to say anything, just know you are on a different level and of a higher league. You earn respect. Love these boots, great fit and feel. My 12th pair of The Brand. To be honest, I was sceptical about this "lowriders". I was however proven wrong. Boardroom, date night, Church, beach day, garbage day and every other day or occasion this shoes will fit in. If you want to experience comfort in its truest form, this is how you will want to go about it. Great shoe, as always.
