ITS MY FAULT THINKING MORE MONEY AND A BIGGER NAME IN STONES WOULD EQUAL QUALITY! by the time I used the stones it was past the return window AND I USED THEM to only find the 400/509 dollar stones NOT FLAT, BENT LIKE A RAINBOW.... the metal plate and the resin bonding..... on new to purchasing quality stones, but this six hundred dollars was a lesson learned.

So far I am not real impressed with this. I received my order just a week ago and have sharpened 3 knives. This is a great idea and a bit of an up step for the PPA sharpener however there are some design issues or quality issues that need to be addressed. 1. The rod at the back of the Unit that inserts into the PPA is really tight and snug. You have to force it into the PPA and then really pull to get it out. 2. I think it's a really good upgrade. The only thing I can't say is a con is that the knife mount needs thin rubber inside where it grips the blade. I suggest scratched my dlc coated blade. If I didn't use my knives like I do then if be more upset. Mind you the knife is new and it's the first scratches on it it'll get more by the time I'm finished with it.

I actually have an issue with my holder. I am currently working with Chris for a resolution. I ordered the 2nd revision holder but I unfortunately received the 2nd revision body along with the 1st design adjustment knob. This 1st design adjustment knob restricts the holder guide rod from giving the proper length of stone stroke. The smaller hole in the adj.
