Overall very happy. I’ve been disappointed in its ability to cut. I got some mdf off Amazon to make project with and it’s takes a lot to cut through 3 mm like I need to make 10 passed at 90 percent and 200 speed. Then it’s charred so bad your hand get black just taking it out of the laser. I have air assist and a honeycomb. I have tried multiple settings. I am hoping it’s just the wood. I have ordered basswood to try

The Atomstack A40 pro is amazing. The aluminum extrusion rails make the machine not only easy to assemble but extremely rigid. The hard plastic wheels for the x gantry to move along the y axis are very sturdy and grip far better than my previous machine with metal wheels did. And the linear rail for the x gantry gives added speed and stability. We love it and are glad we were able to not only upgrade to a more powerful machine but also join the family of atomstack laser owners.

The extra Honeycomb that was "Recommended" is WAY, WAY too small. I guess there was excess of these, waste of money. Everything else seems to be good. I did a few modifications to hold the harness and the Air Supply (Not the 80's group) up and out of the way.

The A40/X40 max is amazing machine. I am absolute thrilled. There is only a little thing, that could be improved. X an Y axis should have also have a endstopswich on each ends. Not only on the left/down position. A wrong "move" command in lightburn can otherwise produce a bad crash at the upper or the right side of the track. Guess, why i know this.

Out of box experience with the laser was great. AtomStack Studio needs better documentation, especially regarding the various origin settings (like absolute, user, and current position). Scarred up the plate pretty badly figuring this out.

I like it, it's great. I would add a switch so I could turn the lights on or off at will. Setting up the camera was very, very complicated; the camera never detected the pattern. Instead of a cable, it would be more practical to have a USB plug. And the Wi-Fi, in the end, will never be used. Thanks for everything.

Although it has some minor flaws, I have to give it five stars, just because the bundle has such a good design. The machine itself seems to be pretty sturdy, the axes are absolutely square. The spoilboard is not 100% parallel to the X/Y-plane but definitely good enough (off by 0,5mm over the span of 420mm) and as I made another spoilboard to go on top of the factory one, I can surface it using the machine itself, so that's not an issue at all. I have only used it a couple times because of the smoke. I bought 2 large laser engraver enclosures and will try to put them together to make an enclosure. It is VERY powerful. I was able to cut a rectangle out of 3/4 inch wood in about 5 minutes with no charring. I am not used to the atomstack studio software yet. I am used to using Xtool Creative space. There are a few things I would like to figure out with the atomstack studio. Such as how to group items to size all at once.

I ordered this for taking to shows and making custom hat and It paid for itself the first festival. It's small footprint and lightweight is excellent for my shows. I think the Atomstack Swift is one of the best deals on laser engravers. I bought the 12-watt model and am quite happy with it. You give up about 100 mm in width for the extra 2 watts, but the higher power is worth it. It does make a difference. Atomstack included an extension kit, which gave me an engraving area of 300 mm x 600 mm. Not bad for a sub $200.00 engraver.

This is a far surprior alternative to just using riser feet. It helps keep the laser beam contained and it has a very solid and premium feel to its construction. I definitely recommend this if you're going to use the conveyor! The only downside to using the conveyor is light does leak out the front and back of the pedestal, but that can't really be helped.

Sehr cool, Die Produktbewertungen, die man im Internet findet, treffen mit meiner Meinung nicht zu. Mit den richtigen Materialien kann man auch Glas lasern. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Die Kamera funktioniert leider nur in der Kabelanbindung über USB-C, aber dies ist natürlich kein Problem.
