Just a few projects I've done with the Atomstack A40 pro v2 it does really good it will cut acrylic but be sure to get acrylic design to be used with a diode laser as what I used cut but took forever and wasn't the cleanest. I got frustrated because fedex too longer delivering (Christmas) but once, got it, it was very ease to assamble. Very powerfull. They need to release factory settings for material cutting using lightburn library and fix the problem for connecting your pc to the wifi and network. Also the atomstack solfware reconize don't the full size 850 x 800mm just 400x400 i like it very much. I can't wait they do the updates of firmware. So far I'm loving this machine. Big upgrade from my older 20w atomstack. Still learning what I can cut with it. I know it cuts clear 1x (3/4 inch) pine without any issue, obviously won't cut a knot so I just cut around them. Can handle 1/4 inch soft core plywood easily and fast, 1200 mm/m @ 100%. Haven't tried mdf core yet as I didn't keep it around since my older 20w wouldn't cut it. Love the big size and the fact all my files on lightburn are easily transitioned to this larger size. This machine is an upgrade from an AtomStack off-brand "Enjoywood", went from a 20W to a 30W, can cut 5mm plywood from a local big box hardware store at 300mm/80% power, nearly cleanly, the older one took multiple passes. Got the extension kit, and if you put the screws on the far end of the extrusion, you can get a few more MM out of it. I wanted to say a little learning curve from owning Xtool lasers but must say the combined bundle that brought the honeycombs, the best I have ever purchased. It came with tool holders for the multiple push down taps that came with it plus a sheet of metal to go under it. It was completely flabbergasted. Now that my machine is up and running I love it. It has its hiccups and bumps, I think they need to work on some connectivity issues. I found when I ran a material test, the resulting settings didn’t translate to actual cutting. My material test showed that on 3mm basswood any speed and power setting of greater than 20mm/s and 20% power cut very nicely. In use, I had to increase the power to 80% at 40mm/s to get clean cuts.
