I left my house at 4 PM. I transferred my horse for a little more than 2 1/2 hours. It was 92° outside. My horses temperature showed 98° the blanket showed 71°. When I arrived at the Rodeo, it was approximately 83°. My horses skin temperature was 87° and the blanket was 78°. I used an ambient temperature gun to do these measurements.

These were put to the ultimate test here in Phoenix, AZ where the temps reach 117 degrees during the summer. Love love love this blanket. Easy to wash in the washer! My horse loves it. Hes still underweight so it’s a little looser on him but not bad. Only thing I would change is adding the adjustable neck straps! Color is vibrate and beautiful, material is good quality, it’s definitely waterproof unless it’s raining sideways really hard 🙃 it got wet under the bottom but he was still warm and dry! It’s easy to take a brush and knock off the dirt too. Doesn’t seem to stain easily.

But this blankets material and buckles seem to be strong and high quality and he’s had it 1 week and not one thread is loose!
