The support midsole is exactly what I wanted. It elevates the player one plus to the level of shoes with all time great cushioning. As a bonus, the level of support increases because of the tpu piece on the lateral side of the drop-in midsole. Also, the beefier midsole improves the overall fit and lockdown. So these are my 4th pair of Player 1 Plus…but this is the BEST version so far…I had the carbon plate break through previous older models after playing in them a lot, I love they included the explosive midsole now out of the gate instead of the others that I never used for playing. Best traction out of every shoe I have worn. Looks and feels really good. Only critic I have would be the cushion. It is slightly too chunky and high off the ground for me. I don't feel as responsive when playing defense. I think it also has to do with the wide heel. It has been very difficult to find a basketball shoe for my daughter that isn’t too narrow mid foot and that has enough room in the toe box. I just got the Player 1 Plus Light Version, and they're awesome! This is my second pair from this brand, and they didn't disappoint. The shoes are super lightweight. The "Baby" colorway was not my favorite at first but they definitely grew on me. They give great support, feel comfy, and the grip is amazing.
