This is real silk, and after just one night I immediately notice a difference: the hair is softer, not dry, not damaged, just beautiful! I washed the bonnet beforehand with a pH-neutral shampoo, let it dry lying on a towel, turned it inside out with the shiny side facing inward, and applied a little hair oil to the ends in the evening. It barely slips at all and is very comfortable to wear (doesn't bother while sleeping).

It's real silk. They put a small piece of it as a tester. I burned and it smells Iike burnt hair, so it's natural fiber. I'm not the biggest fan of the rubber band that is inside of it, but it's fine. The quality of sewing is very nice. I love the colors. They look expensive.
