Motor was delivered on time and in good shape. It was much cheaper than local dealers within 300 miles. It will make a fine power plant for my new duck boat, the main reason for buying motor was fuel injection which can be a big advantage in the cold of new england. John m.

Great little motor. I have it mounted on a 17 ft square back canoe and it's a perfect match. After the initial 3 hour break-in period, I opened the throttle to full and, best estimate, I got approximately 12 mph. The best thing is the motor is so lite and easy to transport. As a side note, the motor used 2 1/2 tanks of fuel for the 3 hour break-in period.

Received the motor in days double boxed. After all it was coming up north to Rochester NY. Followed the manual, put ethonol free gas in and 10w-30 oil, removed safety switch and primed the carburetor, put a bucket of water underneath it and started right up in the garage. (It’s not quite boat season, but soon will be and it will be ready to go.)

This cover is great! I ran my boat for several hours last weekend with the splash cover on with no issues and it looks great! Boat Max Online was also great. Have only run it 20 minutes. Areas to improve: Motor oil was partially coating the inside of the cover and parts of the engine. Had to wipe it up. The oil fill cap was in VERY tight. Had to use wrench to get it started. The grommet around the pull cord is either defective or not installed properly. I’ll look further when I a chance.

Yep, awesome prop put me at 6000 RPMs the only two problems is is that it wasn’t balance because I brought it to my Prop Guy and it wasn’t balanced and it didn’t come with the hub kit, but I got all that straightened out. It runs awesome.

It's a Honda, so it works great! Boat max was GREAT to deal with. My item was backordered. They let me know immediately that it was not in stock, with a personal phone call!
