Its very soft and does keep me cool with the cooling pillowcase. I suffer with BAD carpal tunnel in both hands and normally sleep with arm under my pillows. This comforter is truly exceptional in its comfort. My only concern arose when my dog, with muddy paws, unexpectedly jumped onto my king-sized bed. After washing the comforter, its substantial size unfortunately led to faint burn marks when dried, despite my efforts to rotate it every 20 minutes. It now appears quite worn. I absolutely LOVE this comforter- it is extremely soft and doesn’t catch on nails/dry skin. It is so warm and cozy. I cannot go back to my old comforters anymore lol. My one downside- it is very hard to wash and dry.
