Customer photo review of Women's Labyrinth Pants
ManouaneVerified
I love these pants. They are breathable and very comfortable. They don’t have an annoying elastic cuff at the ankle and the fit is relaxed which is hard to find in climbing clothes usually because I’m 5.10 and bigger build.

Customer photo review of Bulletproof Quickdraw

Compared between several other sport draws and chatted with many folks at the crag. These are the best for 2 reasons: - Firm (but not too firm) clip spring tension and chunky handling - Inset steel to guard rope wear for longevity

Customer photo review of Caritool Evo
MattVerified
Very pleased with this addition to my harness. Definitely an upgrade from the old style of ice clipper. Slightly bigger than the old ones for more screws and/or tools. Stays firmly in place with the orange strap mechanism. I thought the strap would be some sort of elastic and prone to breaking but it's not. Feels quite strong. I like it!

Customer photo review of PAW Rigging Plate - Large
TeaamVerified
We use this rigging plate for a few roles. Firstly as a rope rescue rigging plate. Secondly as a training simulator for Class D training as it closely replicates a Boost HECS plate. But this plate is lightweight, easy to use and bomber. Smoothly machined. Solid piece of kit.

Customer photo review of 1/4" Stainless Steel Chain 26 kN (Sold by the 22cm length / 7 links)+1
MarkVerified
This stainless chain is lustrous, shining with quality! One chain has seven links, and can be broken into two sections with some effort. Easy to work with if you have the right tools.

Customer photo review of Accessory Screw Lock Carabiner
GrahamVerified
Works nicely as a safety for the hand ascender. I wanted something that was light and would spin without binding; full-strength carabiners were heavier, for serious climbing I'd use my locking BD oval, but this one's great for quick piece of mind.

Customer video review of Camalot Z4
FedericoVerified
Really liking the Z4! I can’t comment yet on durability, but they feel great on the wall. The head is much smaller than the C4 making the placement much smoother. You could go deeper in cracks too. They are much more flexible than the C4s and some are concerned about it moving much when placing it way above your head, but I didn’t find this is the case.

Customer photo review of Connect Adjust+1

Have been used for a couple of times, I am using a 2cm gate carabiner with it, sometime the orange metal thing making the carabiner cannot be opened fully, so please be remind to choose the right size of carabiner while using it with the connect adjust.

Customer photo review of Am'D Screw-Lock Carabiner
BiancaVerified
Highly recommend if you're looking for the PERFECT carabiner for your Petzl Connect. I found other locking carabiners too small, but this one is perfect! The larger carabiner allows you to fully open it when you have it attached to the Connect. It's smooth to open and I love that it has the red marker to make sure you lock it.

Customer photo review of 7 mm Prusik Cord (per meter)
GustavVerified
This cord is way more supple than the Mammut cord that MEC carries, making it ideal for Prusiks. I usually carry a few M of it on my bail out kit

Customer photo review of StepUp 6 Ladder
MichaelVerified
Great tool for big wall adventures, and generally ascending. It's not too heavy, and has those little stretchy bands that keep your feet held on the steps, for the lowest three steps. I used it for a wall on the chief, and I bring it developing. Makes belays a lot more comfy too; you always have a little ledge to put some weight through your feet (though a belay seat is king for those long belays).

Customer photo review of Aluminium Descending Ring
GustavVerified
These little rings have saved me more than once (don't ask about my rappel route finding skills lol!). Being way lighter than quick-links, it's easy to carry a bunch on a bail out kit. That being said, I wouldn't leave a singular ring at a rap station that sees high traffic.

Customer photo review of Midweight Softshell Gloves - Unisex
SteffenVerified
Awesome materials. The back sheds snow well and the palm feels quite durable. Surprisingly warm for its breathability is its main advantage I would say. Not sure there is anything else I could be wearing with this breathable to warmth ratio. Great high-output gloves for cold days. The neoprene fixed cuff is very tight to get on but fits correct once on. I may choose to cut a slit in this cuff for easier on/off.

Customer photo review of Deploy 325 Headlamp
SteffenVerified
Sleek and light although the rubber arms make the unit long in a pocket. Simple controls, plenty of light for running and emergency. Great for those days when you’re hoping not to be benighted but want to be prepared. Or dark chief laps. Doesn’t replace a large headlamp for nighttime activity.

Customer video review of Crack Gloves
JenniferVerified
good amount of grippy rubber. sizing, I was between xs and small. I ordered xsmall and the finger loops didnt fit over my fat pulleys. small fits but there is a bit of gap in the thumb. everybody said xs would have stretched but the gloves were keeping my hands open and fighting my fist jams. Currently a month into wearing small and pleased with the fit, if the thumb stretches out more in the future I'll just tape it down. would still buy again.

Customer photo review of Superclip Rescue+2
BrianVerified
A great stick clip attachment for shenanigans. I use this when stick clipping to the top of a route for rope solo where I sometimes use a locker. For normal stick clipping with draws, the regular version is fine and will save you a couple of bucks. The rescue version is a bit big for smaller carabiners like my BD hoodwires. Very robust, the draw stays in once it’s in. My favourite style of stick clip.

What a great device! Having the ability to switch from up mode to descending without having to remove it is brilliant. So far easy to use and it catches quickly and reliability.

Customer photo review of Pinch

I have to say it is hands down one step above the grigri. Very easy to feed, no need for biner and the fact that it is clpse to you make it easier to give or take slack. Le meilleur dispositif d'auto assurage sur le marché. Clairement meilleur qui le grigri.

Customer photo review of Trion 15 Pack
MickaelVerified
Great little pack It is frameless so you need to be a bit smarter with packing things so it is confortable but it is not meant to carry much anyway. It does fit my light weight avi gear, and a belay jacket, extra pair of gloves and a water bottle which is all I might want to bring on a multipitch winter climb. For summer it would be plenty big enough too Obviously not big enough to carry all your rack to the climb but it pack so small and is so light I'll just carry it in my bigger pack to the ...

I love the direct harness connection, it improves speed of feeding slack. The friction grooves also increase control while lowering. I enjoy this device more than the grigri, although I have no complaints about the grigri.

Customer photo review of Baby Dill Chalk Bag

This bag has a nice stiff outer rim so it stays open when needed. The zip pocket is super practical to keep a small headlamp and chapstick, you never know when you might need it. Great chalkbag.

Customer photo review of PermaDraw SS3008 Cable Dogbone 316 Stainless

Make a good job. I put a normal biner on but if it was to repeat, I think, I would choice the « all kit » permadraw with the stainless biner. My classic biner is subject to turn over.

Customer photo review of Steel Carabiner with Captive Pin+1

This bad boy is the big dog when it comes to steel biners as fixed gear! Its beefy gate ain't no wire gate. This thing feels solid when clipping. Makes a "Chlunk!" noise when you drop the rope in.

Customer photo review of Alloy Offset Nut Set 7 - 11
FedericoVerified
I have been thinking about buying this nuts for years. My old regular-shaped ones are still in good shape and DDM offsets are quite expensive. But every time I place a nut, particularly in Squamish, I could not help thinking an offset would work better. I was not wrong! This set is much more versatile than my previous one, and I'm now only carrying the offsets. Worth every cent. Can't say much about durability yet, but I have spoken with several climbers that recommended the investing on the...

This is the second Adjama I owned and I truly love it. I used my previous one for four seasons at Squamish and I'm only replacing it to follow general safety guidelines and not because an specific concern. I used the BD Momentum for years, until I need noticed that the fit a materials changed. This was an opportunity to try several harnesses and this one fit perfectly. I do recommend trying it first at the store as many harnesses I got recommended just did not work for me. It is also quite ve...

Love the ocun gloves. The only weakness I’ve experienced is the thumb loop stretching thin and one breaking. I was between sizes and went down, should have gone up. It broke when trying to torque into a fist jam, but I was able to repair it with braided fishing line and tape.

awesome gloves, I have two pairs! I'm between two sizes due to fat pulleys so I sized up and tape the thumb down when necessary. smaller size is too tight on the finger loops and was keeping my hand open.

For me it’s now my favorite portable hangboard! I’ve used so many in the past from Digit, MetacarpEdge and Grippul to name a few and this one is way more confortable for the main grips. The mono pocket works well for my middle finger but not for the other fingers.
