Exactly what I was looking for. You get what you pay for and it is good. The provided head strap is comfortable and doesn't slip that much. The basic mount arm is a bit under built. The mount on the head strap accounts for this mostly. Expect a bit of sag and contact with your eyebrows. The eye cup is a good width as well as the field of view. The buttons are nicely placed, but the two in the middle are non functioning. Adjusting the cctv lens is easy but getting perfect focus is a bit tricky....

I was hesitant to buy these because of the lower price point, but I figured I could drop $750 (on sale) and if they didn't work out at least I'm not out several grand on some grainy gen2 nvg's. I was in the Marines and these are much better quality than what we used/had 20yrs ago. I love the ability to toggle between the different thermal colors. It does take some getting used to look through one side thermal and one side night vision, but I don't mind it and the depth perception isn't a problem...

The best bang for your buck, for sure. Everything you see advertised for it is true. The construction of it is very durable and strong so far. I haven't had a chance to put it through extreme situations yet but using it with my kit putting it through some paces on my property it stays tight and doesn't wobble around. It takes some time to get them to assimilate together so you only see one field of view but it does get there. I would highly recommend for those of us that can't afford the $14,000...

Nicer buttons and some identifying markings would be great, other than that this thing works pretty well. You're not paying too dollar so don't expect top dollar equipment but this gives you the ability to see in the dark. The illuminator is a little bright and easily spotted by any people that you may be observing, again for the price it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Overall, it's pretty decent. Don't buy this unit if you're going to be expecting analog night vision results. However, if you're okay with active illumination/digital NVGs then go ahead and buy it. For what it's worth, it gives a pretty practical capability to see in the dark. It's easy to use, set up, and get used to. I was very surprised how well these work. The night vision is decent, and the IR lights up my entire yard in pitch black conditions. The Heat scope improves up everything, and I could see my dogs lit up like lightbulbs brightly. There is a very slight blur when moving. There is no washout if you move into a well lit position. Vision is just as good in day or night. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with my purchase.

The nvg screws are small and weak they snapped, I had to replace the broken screws. The nvgs are good for the price point. The thermal is not bad it's refresh rate is faster than the ones we got in my department. Speaking as someone who was military and fire service, for the cost they are worth it.

I can go the whole night without worrying if my battery is going to die, and it's totally worth the extra $14.95. So far, no complaints. Great price for an awesome product. Wish the manual was a bit more descriptive, but it is what it is. Feels pretty durable with the makers knowing that it's most likely going to be used in airsoft or the outdoors in general. I'm pairing it currently with a 4x magnifier, and it does enhance the view. For the price, I'd recommend it alone. I only wish I had these when I was younger!
