the fusion is an absolute beast but the one thing I noticed is they just took the original shell of the MAX and repurposed it with some additional features. 4/5 for the lack of creativity in the new design but it really does work as well as they advertise it, so yes it probably still is the best budget thermal vision goggle in the world right now they dont lie.

I had ordered the Max 2.0. When it arrived, I put it on charge. After several attempts to focus it and not being successful. I contacted Support and later sent them a video they requested to verify the issue. A couple of days later I received an email informing me they had authorized a new one to be shipped. A good product overall. I did think I was going to receive both items based on the listing, as the advert I went through didn’t give a choice of setup, which felt a bit misleading.
That said, I haven’t used it in a game yet, but I have used it in training and it worked well. I’ll leave another review once I’ve had the Heat as well.

These things work great, in my opinion equal with Gen1+ And 2 military grade Night Vision. Also with it being digital, When exposed to bright light it goes to color instead of blinding you. The only bad thing I can say about these Are you have to take them off to recharge them, get a extra battery pack to add time on face with them. If they came out with a series that had a AA or AAA Option I would definitely buy them. Overall great Piece of equipment.

I was hesitant to buy these because of the lower price point, but I figured I could drop $750 (on sale) and if they didn't work out at least I'm not out several grand on some grainy gen2 nvg's. I was in the Marines and these are much better quality than what we used/had 20yrs ago. I love the ability to toggle between the different thermal colors. It does take some getting used to look through one side thermal and one side night vision, but I don't mind it and the depth perception isn't a problem...

The night vision was cool but when adding the Heat it made it super cool. A little adjustment and it put them together. I was running them inside my house and I could see where the coldest coming in. For the price it is amazing. I have a extra night vision, because I didn't know what I was doing when I ordered. I'm just going to give it to my son. Draw back is the batteries have still not arrived, do to being shipped from China. I just went to a vape store and bought them and a charger.

Delivery took about two weeks from order date. Items were as described, the bridge mount and helmet mount were not the best, but adequate and just as represented. I subsequently changed the mounting brackets and fitted a Wilcox type bridge and with a metal Wilcox style helmet mount. Overall I am happy with the purchase and the quality of the thermal and nvg and find it to be a great value for the cost.

Exactly what I was looking for. You get what you pay for and it is good. The provided head strap is comfortable and doesn't slip that much. The basic mount arm is a bit under built. The mount on the head strap accounts for this mostly. Expect a bit of sag and contact with your eyebrows.
The eye cup is a good width as well as the field of view. The buttons are nicely placed, but the two in the middle are non functioning. Adjusting the cctv lens is easy but getting perfect focus is a bit tricky....

The best bang for your buck, for sure. Everything you see advertised for it is true. The construction of it is very durable and strong so far. I haven't had a chance to put it through extreme situations yet but using it with my kit putting it through some paces on my property it stays tight and doesn't wobble around. Nicer buttons and some identifying markings would be great, other than that this thing works pretty well. You're not paying too dollar so don't expect top dollar equipment but this gives you the ability to see in the dark. The illuminator is a little bright and easily spotted by any people that you may be observing, again for the price it's definitely a step in the right direction.

Overall, it's pretty decent. Don't buy this unit if you're going to be expecting analog night vision results. However, if you're okay with active illumination/digital NVGs then go ahead and buy it. For what it's worth, it gives a pretty practical capability to see in the dark. It's easy to use, set up, and get used to. Just do lots of research beforehand on how to use night vision properly and setting it up.

I was very surprised how well these work. The night vision is decent, and the IR lights up my entire yard in pitch black conditions.
The Heat scope improves up everything, and I could see my dogs lit up like lightbulbs brightly.
There is a very slight blur when moving.
There is no washout if you move into a well lit position. Vision is just as good in day or night.

The nvg screws are small and weak they snapped, I had to replace the broken screws. The nvgs are good for the price point. The thermal is not bad it's refresh rate is faster than the ones we got in my department. Speaking as someone who was military and fire service, for the cost they are worth it.
