I was surprised how easy this was to work with! I have been scared of sequins for absolutely forever, but actually this was great! Two layers through normal domestic machine and overlocker absolutely fine! 4 layers is still pretty ok! I did struggle with the parts where I had darts and pleats going up to 6+ layers but that was more of a learning curve for me! Shall be buying again

This is a four way stretch jersey, I have made the three metre dress as seen on a video sharing site. It machined well on my over locker once I'd sorted out which program to use, due to stretching, did a rolled hem which turned out great. It's quite heavy but I think the the turned out ok. I've made it for the summer 🌞

From the plum I made a cowl neck top and a pull-on straight skirt. They look exquisite. From the emerald I made a turtle neck top and a camisole for under a suit I have. From a length I previously bought, of blue , I made a dress with a notch neck. All three projects are great. I just wish I had the technical knowledge to attach photos.

i bought the 30 metres remnant bundle and with the BOGOFF offer got 60 for £30. Didn’t i do well very few small pieces , several cotton and brushed cotton in good long lengths. Good long length of a dark golden stretch velvet. Believe one is poly/woo and a cordero y. For 50p a metre what a bargain .

I made this lovely Style Arc ‘Christina’ shirt dress in this crepe fabric. It was lovely to cut and sew - not slippery like some crepes can be and drapes beautifully on the full skirt. It frays a bit but once overlocked, looks really neat and washes really well. Pleased with this fabric and I love my dress!

Lovely weight of scuba for winter leggings. These are Mood Fabrics 'Lotus' with the reverse of the fabric as the contrast panel (and added pockets). Great stretch and I love the subtle patterning. Watch out that the pattern in directional though.

Am using a lot of the wadding to make cat igloos for my local Cats Protection centre. Perfect for making them warm and cosy, with a variety of thicknesses so I can make the top panel sturdy. Such good value! Am also going to make some thermal gloves using the very thin, cuddly wadding which will be beautifully warm for Big Issue sellers and homeless folk. This is such a useful resource!

The faux burgundy leather is lovely to work with but you need to put tape underneath your pressure foot in order to sew it together or use tissue paper as the faux leather can cause the stitches to skip, it's also better to use a longer stich on your sewing machine.

Excellent Jersey for the price. Not sweatshirt fabric but a lovely weight jersey. Use your imagination with this one. I have made baggy tee shirts and beach cover ups. Play around with the stripes making sleeves longer by adding more stripes. Washes well too. Happy with my purchase.

Not my cup of tea with the prints. However, I'm learning to sew, so not overly bothered about the prints. I bought the cotton to test the fabric with, so it fits my needs perfectly. The cotton is definitely kitten soft. A kitten appeared on my fabric once I opened it up.

Lovely weight satin, the 3 metres was the ideal length for this robe. Probably not for a complete novice as it's very slippery and frays quite a bit but it was worth the work. I'll be making a coordinating nightie with the dark green Mickey Mouse fabric I bought with it!
