Rather than a 'mixed ' bag of remnants my package was largely made up of coronation- related material which l found hard to use. However l happened to be making a scrap quilt and happily the Union Jack fat quarter became interleaving strips and scraps from 2 other pieces were also used.

I bought 2 lengths of this as I didn’t want to dare running out! I’m a bigger and taller woman and I love a maxi dress. Sometimes 3 metres is enough but not including sleeves. This fabric is vibrant and just gorgeous. A nice amount of stretch and drape. I’ll upload a photo when I’m done!

Lovely fabric but of course no sewing involved as once you’ve melted the beeswax on the fabric it’s sealed. But does the job of pretty covers for your dishes. Just secure with a rubber band or a hair band !
