As someone who is new to run, I bought this at the back of my positive experience wearing compression socks for travel. Glad I give this a try, as the design is v thoughtful (eg extra padding on the sole of the sock) compared w my normal compression sock. I am unable to say if this sock helps w my performance but I observed, from the past 8 runs these past two weeks, that my calves less sore (I have fat calves). And I like the length, good to protect my legs as I mostly do outdoor runs.
