They are high rise, so I usually leave button undone and tucked down to allow for my short waist without a bump under my sweater. I’m 5’7” and 190 lbs. so the fit otherwise is great. Just wish I could get these in mid-rise. One of my most worn jeans this winter- in fact so much so that I ordered another pair when they went on sale!
