I’ve finally learned to knit after 7-8 times trying over a 30 year span, and Wandering Flock deserves some credit for that. I fell in love with the retired Mermaid Parade colorway and bought some of this Yollo to use as a supplement.
All of the WF yarns I’ve tried are a joy to look at and work with, and they’re so pleasant that I’m about halfway through with a sweater instead of frogging everything and giving up after a few rows like before.

The color is true to what I saw online. it is a beautiful light soft lilac color. I like the yarn combination of cotton silk and linen for summer wear. There is no fuzz to the yarn from strands of linen peeking out . Other yarns with a linen blend have obvious long strands of linen hanging out of the yarn , this yarn is not like that. The drawstring muslin bag that was included with it was a nice surprise and helps contain your project and prevent your needles from poking through the weave of the fabric.
