The cotton in the dress is extremely light weight. When I first pulled it out of the packaging, I thought, "oh no, you'll be able to see through the material." But NO, not at all (no visible underwear). It's very comfy. Every time I wear my Hearts Desire dresses, I am stopped and complimented.

Years ago I order this duster in Oatmeal. I have worn it till I have had to batch areas of it which is ok. It looked good with appliques on it. But, then it got really woren under the arm area and actually has holes in it. So, I ordered another one again. I just believe its a staple for the clothes I wear. I have three pair of these pants, 2 linen and 1 velvet. They are my favorite dress up/dress down/go to pants. You can create so many looks with different accessories, and they are super comfortable. In Texas, you can wear them year round. I lost a lot of weight and had them altered [at the front seam] and because they are so well made, the alteration was indiscernible. Some clothes are classics; this pant is one of them.
