It definitely needs time to macerate and mature. At first spray, it doesn’t smell good. But At dry down, it smells like vanilla body shop perfume oil. I need to let my bottle sit to mature. I know this scent will be a winner. I just need to be patient!

Angel was one of the first “real” perfumes I ever owned and has always been a “nostalgic” favourite. This one smells 98% identical. The difference is so slight I think it is just that some notes in Starburst comes through a little more! I blind bought this so unfortunately I can’t compare it to the original, however this fragrance is in my opinion very smooth, sophisticated and expensive-smelling compared to most designer fragrances out there, which is a huge feat for $55. I believe it to be a near perfect layering fragrance to layer other stuff on top of it, since the dry down is such a simple ‘musk cloud’ sitting on your skin.
